Nursing databases produce results in two forms: Full Text and Abstract Only.
Full Text articles will display HTML or PDF icons to open. It is recommended to check the Full Text Box before entering terms in the search box as shown in the sample below.
Limit your results
Abstracts will not display full text icons but may have Digital Object Identifier (DOI) links that takes you outside the SXU network sending you to publisher web sites. DOI links are prevalent when searching in the OVID LWW Nursing Journals database.
For functioning DOI links: . You will see the following on publisher sites: Welcome Ovid Subscriber! Your institution's Ovid subscription entitles you to view the full text of this article on publisher sites.
For articles not available in a full text format use the Borrow From Other Libraries link to order the article through the SXU interlibrary loan process. The library will order the article for you and email it to you if available.
