  • Open Tree of Life aims to construct a comprehensive, dynamic and digitally-available tree of life by synthesizing published phylogenetic trees along with taxonomic data.

  • Catalog of Life is an index consisting of 1.6 million species from around the globe; search the catalogue by keyword or browse by taxonomic tree (e.g. Animalia, bacteria, viruses) or by taxonomic classification (e.g. phylum, genus, species).
