Welcome!

Are you a future special education teacher? Or in a special ed class? You've come to the right place! This guide will help you get started with your research and give you ideas of some other resources out there for you.

Mapping Out Your Research gives you some tips and tricks for getting started with the scholarly research process. 

Getting into the Scholarship has some search strings, some subject headings, and some ways into the scholarly literature. 

Books for Younger Folks is all about #KidLit! There are book lists, awards, and more geared towards representations of disability in children's literature, and some of them are here. You'll also find some of the books here at SXU that have won these awards and appeared on these lists.

Beyond the Library takes you into a very few of the resources available to you out in the wider world. But it's just a start. There are a lot more out there!
