I-Share: SXU is part of a consortium of 90 academic libraries in Illinois.

• You can renew your SXU and I-Share books using this account.
• You can borrow books from other libraries for 4 weeks, and renew up to 3 times, for 16 weeks of borrowing. 
• Books generally arrive within 3 days.

I-Share provides access to your account and related options...saving favorites, marking and email/downloading records, and saving search strategies. See our short videos highlighting basic I-Share functions:

Use the LOGIN option on the top right of the screen. You use your mySXU netID and password. 

Borrow from Other Libraries.

This service is for books, DVDs, and full-text articles not owned by the SXU Library or available through I-Share. You can obtain books and full-text articles through Interlibrary Loan.

• Articles are scanned and delivered to your email in PDF format.
• For books and DVDs not available through I-Share, interlibrary Loan gives a loan period of 2-3 weeks with no renewals. The actual lending period is at the discretion of the lending library.
