Patrons with Disabilities: Patrons with Disabilities

Library help for patrons with disabilities

Welcome

The staff at the Library seeks ways to provide independence for persons with disabilities to take full advantage of the library's offerings. The Library serves as an important research and educational resource for the Saint Xavier community and tries to develop reasonable accommodations or modifications to make its resources accessible to users with disabilities.

The following services are offered to persons with disabilities upon request. Some services may be on a delayed basis.

  • Assistance with online and physical resources, including scanners, printers, workstations, and other pieces of information technology
  • Retrieval of books and DVDs from the stacks and shelving areas.

For additional accommodations contact Center for Accessibility Resources. The LCDS office is located in L-108 of the Warde Academic Center.
