DURING THIS CORVID-19 ILL BORROWING SUSPENSION, the OCLC WorldCat database is not sending materials between libraries.
However, the Library Pandemic Resources page contains some helpful tools to support distance learning during our transition of course support to a completely online mode.
You may still contact the library staff for online assistance with our many online tools.
Almost all of the material you desire can be found through a search within our CARLI I-Share consortium. You will have immediate access and longer loan periods from our local catalog and our I-Share partners. In addition, our staff will simply re-direct any WorldCat requests that are also found in our local catalogs back to you. This will create an even longer delay, and you will still need to request the item yourself.
Start all searches in our local catalog of books (and some other material): use the the new interface which will provide the most powerful functionality. Or you may use the older VuFind interface.
Expand your search into the I-Share consortium catalog, which covers 91 academic libraries within the state and provides 2-3 day book delivery.
HINT: If you have a zero result in our local catalog, you can access the expanded state-wide domain by using the BACK ARROW button to return to the initial search-term form, and then change the Local Catalog Only drop-down box option to "All I-Share Libraries" to re-run the same search across the larger database
ONLY if these catalogs do not have the item you desire, should you expand your search into thousands of other book catalogs using the Worldcat database.
NOTE: Expect delays as you make ILL requests for many of these materials not owned by our network.
