You can access all the Library's electronic resources from off campus if you have a current faculty/staff/student SXU netID and password. You will be prompted to type in your campus portal (mySXU) netID and password when you click on a database or full text article link.
Log into mySXU before you start using library resources, and our single-sign-on will populate your passwords.

The Hub is the first point of contact for technology assistance. Support is available during business hours, and trained staff can help with your campus computer, printer, network connections and access questions.
Students can put in a HUB request for a Cougar Card or visit hubchat.sxu.edu for real time assistance from 8am-5pm daily, Monday - Friday.
If you are being denied remote (off-campus) access to a database, try adding this validation element to the front of your URL:
(the older proxy was https://ezp3.sxu.edu/login?url= )
Off-campus access to books and videos: Delivery locations for books and videos are found within the book catalog. The default location is designated when you first create your account ... and can be modified at the point of each request.
Books and videos will not be delivered to locations beyond the existing delivery locations.
When electronic books and streaming videos are not available, off-site users should obtain their books and other materials through local public libraries.
Because of licensing agreements with our vendors, databases are not available to alumni from off campus. Alumni who have registered with Alumni Relations for new ID cards may visit the Library in person to access these services on our workstations. Alumni do not have access to non-SXU books or outside ILL journal article requesting; these services should be obtained through your public library.
