Criminal Justice and Public Safety in Video. Contains documentaries, investigative reports, interviews, instructional videos, and primary footage. Key themes include administration of justice, criminological theory, law adjudication, and law enforcement.

Ethnographic Video Online. Over 750 hours of classic and contemporary documentaries for the visual study of human culture and behavior. Includes films by leading video producers, previously unpublished footage from working anthropologists and ethnographers, select feature films, field notes, liner notes, filmmaker biographies, related articles, and study guides.

Films on Demand. Streaming videos in all topic areas, searchable by subject, title, or special collection.

JSTORArticles from scholarly journals in the arts and sciences, sometimes going back to the first issues. 

NCJRS Abstracts Database  A federal government database.  Contains summaries of the more than 220,000 criminal justice, juvenile justice, and substance abuse resources housed in the NCJRS Library collection.  Use the SXU library's interlibrary loans service to request items not owned by SXU.

Opposing Viewpoints. Articles, topic overviews, primary-source documents, statistics, images and podcasts on current social issues. Also provides national and state curriculum standards.

Sage Premier. Articles from 600 peer-reviewed journals in business, health, and social sciences.

Scopus. Articles in science, medicine, technology, and the social sciences.

SocINDEX with Full Text. Articles from journals, books and conference papers in sociology and criminal justice.
