The purpose of this guide is to assist you with locating scholarly and peer reviewed articles related to your topics on child development. You will begin with an introduction to peer reviewed journals, then move to ERIC and learn about the importance of using subject headings.
In class we took a look at ERIC. There is also another database you might find helpful, Education Research Complete. Sometimes it is necessary to try topics in subject specific databases' and these two databases are good examples of education databases. Perhaps your topic fits into another discipline like psychology or sociology. Our databases are listed alphabetically and by subject on our A-Z List of Databases page.
